4 months ago, I started hosting regular design talks in my city. I do these for free. Why? Because inspiring & helping people is worth more to me than $$$ Giving > taking. Who’s with me?

Designers, Your future isn’t like the weather. It doesn’t just ‘happen’ to you. It’s a reflection of today’s efforts. Every minute you put in, every habit, every decision is a vote for the world you build for yourself tomorrow. Make this Monday count.

If you're a designer and you've: - Never had creative block - Never felt like an imposter - Never been afraid to show your work - Never compared yourself to other designers Then you're either lying, or you're some sort of design robot that I need to hire.

This might sound harsh but... If you're an introverted designer trying to succeed by acting like an extrovert, you're doing it wrong. On Saturday’s space we’ll show you how to actually harness your natural strengths, not fight them. Come learn how👇x.com/i/spaces/1MYxNwRZmmoKw

Design is a paradox. It's a combination of creativity and logic. A mix of chaos and order. A balance between freedom and constraint. And that's why it's so hard to master. But at the same time, so damn satisfying.

Hey up and coming designers, you need to give up. You heard me. Give up: - Unhealthy comparison - Undervaluing yourself - Trying to be perfect Seriously… drop these and I promise you'll be happier, more productive, and creating your best work in no time.

My top tip for freelance designers: Learn the art of business. And hands down, the most impactful book to start with is ‘The Win Without Pitching Manifesto’ by @blairenns. It genuinely transformed my design career, and I bet it’ll change yours too.

Designers, The reason you think your work sucks is because you’re seeing it through the lens of where you want to be, not where you are now. Stop being hard on yourself. Stop comparing yourself to others. Just focus on improving. Slow growth is still growth.

Every time someone says 'think outside the box’ I cringe. Here’s a question: Have you tried thoroughly exploring inside the box yet? Remember, great design solves problems. It doesn't create new ones. Effectiveness always beats uniqueness.

Today, I said no to a big chunk of $$$ from a client. Why? Turns out they didn't need what they came to me for. So I recommended they spend the money on something more impactful to their business. I didn’t sell, I diagnosed. Leaving money on the table may feel counterintuitive, but chasing quick cash today costs you trust tomorrow. We're here to serve, not empty others’ pockets. Value beats volume. Integrity beats income. Relationships beat revenue. Wanna build a successful business? Start looking at trust as your most valuable currency.
