Absolutely outstanding performance by our football team at today’s Bath & District Mixed Football Tournament in which we won The Plate, winning 5, drawing 1 and losing 1. Sporting behaviour was outstanding and all player contributed to an awesome day!

Years 5 and 6 have completed their bridges! The children appreciate that additions could be made for stability, such as diagonal struts, but they did really well constructing these in the time allowed. #primaryDT

Well done to the Year 5 children who attended the ‘Multi-sports Festival’ at the Glasshouse on Monday. They had a brilliant day in the sun experiencing a range of new sports with many other schools from the Bath area.

To show our support for the Ukraine we created a Peace and Harmony wall. The whole school participated in a art day and raised money for the Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund 🇺🇦

Thanks to @BMT_Global for working with UKS2 last week, where the children were Engineers and Scientists designing, constructing, testing and evaluating their maritime creations. @lightinguplearn

Years 5 and 6 investigated gravity and air resistance in their attempts to avoid their raw egg succumbing to a smashing end by designing the best parachute possible. Some were more successful than others, but everyone tried their best.
