🚣‍♂️ Battling the Storm & Deploying the Para Anchor 🌊 Last night, the storm rolled in, and despite giving it everything we had—three grueling hours for just one nautical mile—we had to admit defeat. With the wind hammering against the bow and progress at a standstill, we deployed the para anchor. The para anchor is a vital tool out here, acting like an underwater parachute. It helps keep the boat stable, preventing us from being pushed too far off course or drifting backward in strong winds and rough seas. While we weren’t making forward progress, we also weren’t losing hard-earned miles. Now, as the conditions improve, Pete & Neil are retrieving the para anchor, and we’re gearing up to get back on the oars.
