Made a case earlier this morning on the floor of @Parliament_Ug for increasing our investments in irrigation. Our irrigation uptake is still below 2% . While in the past, irrigation infrastructure development wasn't a much considered priority because of the God given predictable weather, now it's very urgent due to the adverse effects of climate change . We must stabilize agriculture, we must feed and hydrate our soils so that they can feed us back sustainably.

Congratulations Hon. @FrankTumwebazek on your re-appointment as Minister of @MAAIF_Uganda! Your vision for modern agriculture inspires of us, farmers. Wishing you renewed energy and success as you serve our farmers and nation. Proud moment!
