After extensive work, Rowmote Helper 4.2 is now available with many updates for macOS Catalina, including a return of AirPlay control! Huzzah!

macOS Mojave tip: If the trackpad and keyboard aren't working, you need to grant the needed permissions to Rowmote Helper. See regularrateandrhythm.com/app… for step-by-step instructions.

@markusoneill I don't see a solution to how to handle it otherwise for Rowmote without Pro. Most people want to get new features...

@markusoneill With Rowmote Pro you can just use the track pad to dismiss the update notification (or to update)

Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.8 users: Sorry for the spurious upgrade notification. Fixed now. You want to stick with Rowmote Helper 4.1.3.

In the meantime, the trackpad *does* actually work on 3D Touch screens, but you have to tap as quickly and lightly as possible!
