Rooted Finance has refused. Despite acting maliciously towards their workers and recklessly disregarding their service users - Rooted Finance is still funded by Hackney Council and the Greater London Authority. It seems that the 'charity' is primarily a vehicle for Muna Yassin's career - nothing the organisation does isn't done more responsibly by other charities. On this basis we feel comfortable in demanding NO PUBLIC FUNDS FOR UNION BUSTING and asking the GLA and Hackney Council to pledge to deny funding to Rooted Finance and any future organisation that engages in this despicable behaviour.
