Byron Cunningham, LA Rams Athletic Trainer and 2024 Tim Davey Award recipient, is showing how athletic trainers go beyond the sidelines. Partnering with Henry Schein and PFATS, Byron helped his alma mater, John L. LeFlore Magnet High School, build a fully equipped athletic training room—giving future student-athletes access to care, safety and opportunity. High school athletic trainer Ian Rogol now has the tools to support his athletes, thanks to this incredible collaboration. RCS Athletic Trainers provide a great service to our schools and parents by providing care on campus. These numbers equal less missed class time for students and less money parents spend on athletic injuries.

Our @RuCoAthletics staff continues to make a difference in the community and schools. Since 2023, RCS Athletics offered 1,100 seats for hands-on CPR & First Aid training, certifying over 450 coaches.
