The Government of Jamaica, through the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, has launched the “I Love Jamaica” fundraising concert series, a global initiative to raise US$1 million for the Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund.
The series will include a telethon and virtual concert on Sunday, November 16, broadcast live from the CPTC studios between 3:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Performers will include Chris Martin, Masicka, and several others, with additional artists to be announced.
Concerts are also being organized across the diaspora.
Both Jamaican and international artists have pledged their support, alongside prominent personalities who will help drive donations and pledges. Notably, Chris Gayle will partner with the CPL to champion overseas fundraising efforts.
