👀This is one of the most shameful attempts to suppress investigative journalism that I have personally experienced, in my 15 years as a reporter. Parliament refused to give me a press pass, claiming it was due to "capacity". But this was not true. I've now obtained internal emails that cite the "particular standpoint" of @declassifiedUK "in-depth investigations" on UK foreign policy. In particular, parliamentary officials referenced a recent story of mine that raised concerns about pro-Israel bias by parliamentary authorities. They also cited my "contentious" book (published 9 years ago), which was not contentious in the slightest and was, in fact, serialised in the Guardian and reviewed positively. The only contentious thing about it was that it was highly critical of...
