@RubyJXiong derived closed form estimators for the gamma mixture model in a new preprint arxiv.org/abs/2110.13074. It's way faster than ML EM estimation. We will use this for image analysis in #MxIF for the #HTAN. With @KenLauLab @etmckinley. @vandy_biostat @ASAimaging @NCIHTAN
