Gm 💜 ~ About my painting process ~ ~ I never plan my paintings in advance, which allows my intuition and subconscious mind to unfold. And like in a dream, a painting starts revealing itself, showing something that even I consciously wasn’t expecting . ~ Like encoded messages, paintings carry their secrets. Sometimes I understand my paintings with time, months or even years after I’ve made them. Some I still don’t. ~ After I finish a painting I feel like it has started living its own individual life. I do not possess them or have any authority over them, and they become like autonomous living worlds.

gm friends Been some time since my last post, I have been SO focused on my production. Tight deadlines and piled up painting and Master’s schedules kept me busy and online mostly on Instagram. How have you’all been?

I don’t usually share much about my personal life BUT: On a personal note, I would like to thank and express my gratitude to @RubyRhizome One year ago today we met on a call to discuss my dream that was Primavera Digitale, and you helped me bring it to life. Then, when we met in Florence, you helped me realize that dreams are worth nothing if you have no one to share them with. Thank you for inspiring me to be a better man everyday, for bringing light back into my life and for becoming the person I want to share all my dreams with.

I will share my thesis again for the art space of Crypto - we need to devote most, if not all, of our resources to onboarding. We need new collectors, new artists and new energy. We can all play a part in that by supporting projects that are focused on onboarding, attending/promoting IRL exhibitions, or even onboarding a friend. Every action matters and every action compounds. I am now at my family’s home in rural Mexico to gather strength and inspiration for this upcoming year.
