We celebrated #MazingiraDay2025 with @KiambuCountyGov, Karuri Water & Sanitation Co., local CBOs, and support from @Thirst_Foundation  Activities included a Ruaka Town cleanup, citizen science testing on River Ruaka (nitrate & phosphate levels),and tree planting.

What an incredible celebration the #WorldRiverRun has been! 🌍🌊🏃‍♀️ From Kenya to Mexico, from classrooms to riverbanks, people everywhere came together to celebrate and protect our rivers. Running, walking, cleaning, learning and speaking up for the waterways that sustain us. A huge thank you to @WetlandsInt for partnering with us, and to each of you whose efforts brought this global movement to life.
