Her fix: dirty up your language so your boss doesn't notice.
That's a bad idea.
When film went digital, the same argument appeared. Shoot on film. Or degrade your digital to look like film. Don't let people know.
We adjusted. The medium changed. The work got better.
AI is the same shift. Everyone is using it. Trying to hide it means deliberately producing worse work to meet a standard that no longer exists.
Polish means you conveyed information clearly. That's the job.
If you want raw human voice and real connection — go outside. Have that conversation in person. That's what in-person is for.
Online, you're just trying to be understood. The AI helps you do that faster and more clearly than you could alone.
Hiding that is shooting yourself in the foot.
Personally, I don't care if my posts sound like AI. I'm putting out 10x the volume in 10x less time. That's the point.
