Our local Ahmadiyya community is a great example of embodying values and giving back. Today, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Canada organized @RunForToronto_ with @mercy4mankind_ to raise funds for @HRHealth_. As Councillor, I am proud to have them with us in Ward 7.

These charity runs are part of the Mercy 4 Mankind initiative by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Canada,which is inspired by the charitable example of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He has been referred to in the Holy Quran as ‘Mercy for all the Worlds’ and this is reflected in his teachings and practice.

Ahmadiyya Muslim youth are hosting eight charity runs this upcoming weekend as part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Canada's nationwide effort to hold charity runs in communities throughout Canada.
