…anyways Top #Dodgers OF prospect Josue De Paula hit his 11th homer as part of a 3-for-3 day (so far). De Paula is up to a .335 AVG & 1.002 OPS on the season

Yeah. I've seen enough. Call up Ryan, shift Sheehan to long relief, and demote Dreyer.

This is a loser / moral victory mindset tbh
Vargas on Peters' ninth inning leadoff homer: "In the dugout, it kind of feels like we won that game after that. We really needed it. We were ready for that hit.”

A few hours later, I still feel Mookie should have made the play. But it was one of those things where everything had to go - drum roll - perfectly. Freddie Call made some BIG plays. But any one of those could've gone wrong. Just tough to put it ALL on Mookie IMO.

Maybe this summer Wemby should get in the weight room instead of a monastery

Man, the Spurs just handing Fox that max contract is like someone voluntarily kissing a running chainsaw. What an all-time self-sabotage.

Wemby has no handles, has no stamina, has no strength, and has no reliable offense to his game. His mental game is pretty weak too.

A fully healthy OKC team probably would have won the WCF in 5 games tbh

The Spurs have butterfingers on every single loose ball. Nerves getting to them?

Yeah. It looks like the Knicks are winning this one and winning it all tonight.

Couple of thoughts: 1) The Knicks are playing to win, the Spurs are playing not to lose 2) The Knicks are making Wemby look like he's two years away from being two years away

A salary cap will only heighten the Dodgers' advantages in areas like drafting and player development. Where will the goalpost shift to next? It's unfair the Dodgers have so many smart execs so there should be a salary cap for front office employees?
In January 2025, the Reds acquired Gavin Lux from the Dodgers in exchange for Mike Sirota and a Competitive Balance Round A pick in the 2025 Draft. The Dodgers used the pick on OF Charles Davalan. Sirota (#14) and Davalan (#67) are now both Top 70 prospects in baseball. Lux had 0.3 War in his only season as a Red and is now a Ray. Just insane stuff from the Dodgers

For the illiterate: I'm totally fine w/ a cap as a Dodger fan. But don't come crying to me trying to shift the goalpost when the Dodgers keep winning anyways because they still excel at things that don't require money. It's almost as if Friedman succeeded in Tampa for a reason.
