What is it about the little boy who lives down the lane that entitles him to same level of service as the Master and the Dame from respected local wool merchants?

Just listened to another physical pentest story on Darknet Diaries (ep 59). Is my perception skewed by listening to the podcast or is it much more common in US than UK?

Great to be at #CodemotionMadrid23 - looking forward to talking about post-quantum cryptography later this morning.

Why are people on #bbcqt using phrases such as "...Brexit that was imposed on us..." when this was a UK wide poll? According to that logic, is it acceptable for any sub-unit of any given polity to reject the democratic whole on the basis that "We / I didn't vote for it"?
Brilliant to see @SkySport showing the Women's Test match from Taunton on Main Event while it rains in Leeds. I'm sure in previous years we'd have been watching men talking about what might happen when the sun comes out. Fantastic work.
Fibonacci playing fir New Zealand at Lord's today.
Given that Raymond Van Barneveld, Michael Van Gerwen and Robin Van Persie all got their requisite 3 letter abbreviations, I'm surprised that I haven't heard anybody call Dirk Van Duijvenbode DVD? #WorldDartsChampionship #PDCWorldDartsChampionship

When a weather forecast says, say, 90% rain, does this mean there is a 90% chance we'll see some rain or does it mean that it is likely to be raining for 90% of the (unclearly defined) time interval?
Based on what we've seen today, team GB rowers should have been lobbying the IOC for more mixed relay rowing events.
I find swimming a little weird. Why isn't it just swim as fast as you can from the start to the finish? Backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly seem to me to be akin to running backwards, hopping, or jumping two footed which we would all think ridiculous if they were an event.

Just watching "Gold Rush" on the BBC. On the subject of UK spending millions on Olympic success a talking head just said "financial doping is shorthand for buying success". I thought "shorthand" involved shortening things?
The girls are bored self isolating so we built a #brewdog inspired cat tank.

Why is Dan Walker not on @BBCBreakfast this morning???
I feel like England (#Southgate) are doing tournament management while everybody else is still talking about game management.

I love Dan Walker. He got to work today and he's presenting @BBCBreakfast looking like I do after we beat Germany.
On a bank holiday, who is it on the street that actually knows when we should put our bins out? We always follow the neighbours, but who are they following? If I put our bin out now, will the rest of the street have followed by bedtime in the expectation of a collection tomorrow?

New day, new (lessened) restrictions but, more importantly, new slogan coming! I can't wait for the launch later. I haven't been this excited for an unveiling since the rumour back in 2017 that the Force India was going to be pink.
