BREAKING: Judicial analyst for the far-right Newsmax network shocks MAGA viewers by condemning Donald Trump's arrest of a Wisconsin judge, says that the FBI now has a "jihad against judges." Andrew Napolitano, a former judge, was discussing the Justice Department's recent controversial arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan for allegedly impeding ICE's arrest of an undocumented migrant. In truth, the agents entered her court in plains clothes, an affront that the judge understandably decided to stand up to. Napolitano pointed out that the agents didn't even have a proper arrest warrant— "An administrative warrant is not an arrest warrant," he said. "No judge would recognize an administrative warrant. So she's on the bench, there's a commotion in the hallway involving the person who is in front of her, the defendant who's in front of her, for some sort of a low level assault and battery." "She goes out to see what the commotion is and they say 'We're here to arrest this guy' and she basically says 'Well you're not going to interrupt with my proceeding. We don't permit arrests in the courtroom. You can wait in the hallway or you can wait for him outside. Let me see your arrest warrant,'" he recounted. "'We don't have one,'" said Napolitano, paraphrasing what the ICE agents said. "They have this administrative warrant, which is basically one ICE agent authorizing another ICE agent to detain someone." "So I don't think there's a crime here. I think she has immunity. She can decide how a person leaves her courtroom," he went on. "On the other hand, I can understand how the feds want to make a big deal out of this," he went on. "They don't like anyone, least of all judges, interfering with the orderly process of arresting people. I just think this was the wrong one for them to do and then they showed pictures of her in handcuffs and all of that kind of stuff which is a violation of several regulations." "I think they overreached by arresting her. If there's an issue in a white collar case with a public official like there was here in New York with Mayor Adams, you don't stop him on the street and put handcuffs on him, you say to his lawyer 'We need to talk to you about whether or not you will voluntarily surrender because we're about to charge you with a crime,'" said Napolitano. "But because they're on a bit of a jihad against judges, they decided to make an example out of this," he added. "I think this is the wrong case out of which to make an example," he said. "I think she has immunity. She can decide where a person leaves her courtroom from and what she says to that person, and she can't be prosecuted for it." Napolitano is absolutely correct. This heinous arrest has nothing to do with upholding the law and everything to do with intimidating the judicial branch on behalf of Donald Trump's fascist agenda. Judge Dugan should be released immediately. During your 58-page concurring opinion, you wrote that the foundational policies of affirmative action "fly in the face of our colorblind Constitution and our Nation's equality ideal.” But Justice Thomas, we did a little digging and it turns out that Yale university followed an affirmative action policy at the time you attended its law school. There’s more. In 1991 a New York Times article about you reported that Yale University officials confirmed you were admitted to its law school "under an explicit affirmative action plan with the goal of having blacks and other minority members make up about 10 percent of the entering class." It appears clear from the testimony of Yale officials that your admission to the Yale School of Law was made at the time of affirmative action policies and was almost certainly influenced by it. We should also mention that you secretly accepted $150,000 in tuition payments from rightwing billionaire Harlan Crowe, but you just voted to strike down loan forgiveness for students who need it. There is something absolutely tragic about the fact that the benefits of affirmative action helped create a Justice Thomas who will now deny many young African American talented individuals the same opportunity. Justice Thomas, if you’re so against affirmative action, I suggest you resign from the Bench.
