Could a "universal vaccine" protect us from future virus outbreaks? 🦠 A Cambridge team has developed an entirely new way of making vaccines. Using data from virus surveillance programmes around the world, they used AI to design a ‘super antigen’. This can create a single vaccine that provides lasting protection against a broad range of viruses - like the Ebola or coronavirus group - even as they mutate into new variants. The results of the first human clinical trial of this technology found it is safe and well tolerated. This could prevent future pandemics before they even begin. Read more 👉 bit.ly/4vkOpNX
