I was skeptical, but now I’m completely convinced. Fencing will become super popular due to this one very particular improvement to the sport. “Sword tip visualization” It’s going to debut at the summer olympics. Every single duel will look like a bloody lightsaber fight

The moral failure of the Left has always been to turn their back on the world’s tragedies under the limp piety of, “Give peace a chance.” ... And the moral failure of the Right is to...shoot our way out of any problems that arise. - Sebastian Junger open.substack.com/pub/sebast…

That’s because they aren’t targeting infrastructure. Oil, refining, electricity, water, etc. This isn’t about making it even harder on the people

In our article for the @thetimes, we spoke with people inside #Iran throughout Saturday - from the moments they learned the US and Israel had begun launching airstrikes against the Islamic Republic - through the moments they learned that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali #Khamenei was killed. Here's a bit of what they told us... (Translated by AI)
There was smoke and a sound. We looked up. Did they kill Khamenei, they asked thetimes.com/world/middle-ea…

Protests in Tehran Jan 13, 2026. Estimates that over 1 Million Iranians are in Tehran tonight demanding the end of the Islamic Regime. They are unarmed, and the Regime is intentionally shooting to kill, but they return in bigger numbers each night. Bravest people alive. 🦁☀️

🚨 BREAKING: @TheFP just published one of the most explosive investigative reports of the year. It exposes how Qatar, a tiny Gulf dictatorship and Hamas' #1 benefactor, has spent nearly $100 billion trying to buy influence in the U.S. This is the result. A 🧵 1/

Had dinner with one of the world’s best bespoke tailors, who happens to be based in Seoul. He mentioned that a one-bedroom apartment in the city now runs about $1,000 a month—up from just $400 a decade ago. A good restaurant meal? Around $7. Compare that to $3,000/ month rent and $25 dinners in San Francisco. This tailor taught himself the craft by studying books and now mentors young people entering the trade. That kind of passion-driven, craft-based work becomes nearly impossible in US cities unless we address the cost-of-living crisis—especially housing. And it’s not just about tailoring. Any vocation outside engineering, law, or finance—whether you're a musician, artist, or skilled tradesperson—is increasingly unsustainable in urban areas because of skyrocketing rents.

He’s asking "who's paying………$90 for a shirt?” I would say that most/a lot of people do just that. Isn’t around $100 pretty normal for an average shirt? $100 will not get you something particularly fancy, but you will get something of decent quality and design.

No matter your personal style, the most important elements of any outfit are fit and silhouette. Without those, everything else falls flat. Compare the more classic proportions on the left: longer jacket, wider shoulders, lower buttoning point, higher rise pants.

This company doesn't seem to care about its customers. They want to make a quick buck, provide poor service, and they're fine with you canceling once they have their money. DON'T USE IONOS.

This is the American Industrial Prison Complex. If you are under the impression this is the exception as opposed to the rule, I suggest you pay close attention to the behavior of the Correction Officers that quite literally beat the life out of shackled inmate Robert Brooks on the evening of December 10, 2024. The body worn camera footage tells no lies, as the callousness and brutality that is captured is revolting. Changing gloves, smiling, all while pummeling a defenseless person and not one of them steps up to even attempt to stop the atrocities that are occurring. When the captors become more depraved than the people they are holding captive there is a serious problem with the system.

Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch. President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.

The U.S. can bend the global emissions curve by developing innovative decarbonization technologies that the rest of the world can use; sharing how to affordably reduce emissions; and incentivizing other countries. Great realistic analysis ⁦@vsivcfr.org/expert-brief/la-fire…

My photo kissing a nuclear waste cask went viral and people had… opinions about it. There was outrage, with many claiming it was dangerous and that I was hurting my future children (lol). Here’s why kissing a nuclear waste cask is actually fine🧵
I kissed a cask (of nuclear waste) and I liked it.
