Proctor showed bias towards Karen for being a woman. But its true that if she was a black woman, shed get treated worse. That racism-misogyny combo is a mfer. Now a bunch of FKRers AND Antis who scared away many POC with their high level of pointless bigotry are weaponizing black rage.
Their behavior for the past 3yrs shows me that they enjoy participating in racism, that their culture is inherently racist & that these cops are cut from the same cloth.
For example, @DoctorTurtleboy & @auntiedebbb are both n word saying white men. Jimmy made a skit mocking genociding the natives. Taxpayers paid these guys to be teachers? Its worse than paying a racist cop? Who were Proctor's teachers? Where does the cycle start?
Will anything change? Of course not. What Ive seen is both FKR & Antis get a psychological benefit from flexing their white supremacy just like Proctor does. Now they get a psychological benefit from pretending to be outraged too.
What many FKR & antis have in common is being mostly white Americans who deny the inherent racism of the justice system & of their culture. Their "good cop" relatives have text like this too. Spare me.
Especially the Turtleboy simps. Their whole argument is about they dont think "speech" has any tangible effects, despite the overwhelming amount of empirical of research proving that certain speech does have tangible effects & despite the fact that they now have concluded that Proctors words do indeed have an effect even on nonrelated things.

Just when we thought Proctor's texts couldn't get any worse, they get worse. I want to vomit. Here's the short version of what Rosemary Scapicchio's arguing in King's Second Supplemental MTD. Being a case of first impression in the CW could make this case even more monumental.

My friend @KYMaverick1 could really use some help. I had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman at the #kelseyfitzsimmons trial. He drove all the way from Kentucky to show his support. He is a truly kind and humble person. He has hit a rough patch in receiving his lung transplant because the primary caregiver he had set up has now backed out. From the CW's Assented to Motion to Unimpound Myles King's 2nd Supp. MTD filed yesterday. The CW hasn't been able to discuss Proctor's disgusting texts with the murder victim's family in King's case. Now they can do so. This shows how Proctor's texts are impacting active cases in real time.

Great news! An amendment to Comment [3] of Model Rule of Professional Conduct 3.8 (Special Responsibilities of a Prosecutor) will likely be adopted this August at the annual ABA conference. The amended language and supporting report emphasize:
1. The Rule is an independent standard, not a mere incorporation of a prosecutor's constitutional and Brady disclosure obligations.
2. Evidence favorable to the defense must be disclosed "as soon as reasonably practical." No waiting for Brady and other evidentiary deadlines that leave defense counsel with little to no time to investigate and alter their strategy.
3. Evidence FAVORABLE to the defense is the bar here. Prosecutors can't hide behind their determinations of "materiality" when choosing what evidence to disclose.
Remember how Kari Morrissey in Alec Baldwin's Rust case kept saying the Teske ammo and undisclosed Haag reports weren't material? Such prosecutorial determinations based solely on materiality can lead to inadvertent Brady violations and violate this rule just like Baldwin's case. I raised this very issue repeatedly post-dismissal. Laypeople had difficulty comprehending this additional requirement under the Model Rules. This amendment clarifies any lingering ambiguity. Deifying lawyers who are being paid to express an opinion is absurd. They are professional advocates whose job is to advance a client's interests, not impartial truth-seekers. They would readily defend Michael Proctor for the right sum of money. What is truly astonishing is the intellectual inconsistency. People who once erupted in outrage over certain conduct now excuse, defend, or completely ignore the very same behavior when it benefits their preferred side. Principles miraculously disappear the moment they become inconvenient. Stop being a braindead follower, and awake your independent critical thought.

I'm seeing many laypeople misconstruing the word "notice" today. Judge Gildea isn't making up new rules. In high profile cases it's common courtesy, especially when you have numerous lawsuits with overlapping individuals, to give a heads up to opposing counsel before formally filing motions, pleadings, etc. likely to generate a significant public response.
