Marcus Hamburgers - yet another all time favorite. This place is so old the namesake sold burgers out of a buggy at a time when burger buns werenโt easy to come by so he made rectangular patties and put them in hot dog buns. Beef is seared and steamed like a slider. Since 1929.

Dueling Coney Stands in Detroit - many places have a situation like this where iconic stands operate next to each other. You know the drill - locals are forced to choose. But itโs tough to tell difference with these two. Both use Koegel natural casing and make great coney sauce.
