The willful ignorance that people have approached this topic with is astounding.
It was never about LeBron complaining about a hotel. We do not care about that.
Itās about advocating for the team to move to Nashville because of Nascar, Vanderbilt and Hockey. You know this, RC. You just donāt want to say it.
The Memphis conversation has become silly, & itās not LeBronās fault. Many prominent players have echoed his sentiments. āWeā the media have made it about community & culture instead of infrastructure.
Basketball players live a bougie, max contract road life, but instead of imploring the Grizzlies to move to Nashville find a solution in Memphis. Also, If we going to ask athletes to speak on behalf of the community at all times a lot of others need to assess their choices as well!

Iām so happy. Memphis deserves this. The Grizzlies are either getting a stud ready-made big or a super skilled guard that WANTS to be in Memphis (instead of Utah.)
This is what hope feels like. I remember now.
reheated nachos aside it really sucks that people just see persona and other video games as something to be watched in their bed like its netflix when they probably could go play the game rn but they would rather make a dozen excuses and hide behind poor people
Iāve gone from really being skeptical to all of sudden being quite open to the idea.
If he wants to be here and thatās how it happens, Iām so down.
āWhile Peterson believes heās the best player in this draft, if he doesnāt go first, his camp would rather he end up with the Memphis Grizzlies, who pick No. 3, than with Utah at No. 2ā, per @GrantAfseth

sorry I cant take "larp" gaming discourse seriously cause it's all bs spouted by people who've never had to deal w the fact that having consoles or computers is a privilege some people just don't have
This doesn't need to be spelled out but there isn't a problem with watching a playthrough of a game when you're just gauging interest or when you're unable to get your hands on the game
The problem is when people fully capable of playing the game refuse to
This whole do or don't have to play games to be fans debate always boils down to people reducing gaming to "fandom" and making it evident all they care about is the social component and fashionability of being able to "wear" a game. Poser culture has grown into a blight.

guess im no longer a fan of until dawn after it being my favorite game for years and watching tons of different gameplays just because I canāt afford it, okay
Absolutely not.
A few AMAZING games like Death Stranding 2, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and God of War Ragnarƶk are awesome but overall they dropped the ball
You can be a fan of a game without playing it but you have to acknowledge your experience is fundamentally lacking bc you didnāt play it yourself
Yay that simple discourse over
the whole "whats the difference between playing games and watching videos on youtube" argument can be ended with a simple question
If your friends play hide and seek are you gonna get the same experience from just watching them play or will it hit different if you joined them?
