Organising the @ihr_history@CHPPC_IHR events series is one of the highlights of my job. We’d be delighted to see you at any of these events over the next academic year. Please share with anyone you think might be interested.
Thank you @ihr_history for inviting me to #HistDay24 We had a wonderful time looking at the archives and collections. My mother was my guest & we are certainly inspiring the next generation of citizen historians. Also caught up with @_gillianmurphy@LSELibrary#historian ❤️
Was a huge pleasure to work with our @VCH_Cumbria colleagues on this fantastic book. The very rainy February day I spent in Burton-in-Kendal will have been totally worth it when this 250th volume of @VCH_London arrives!
We've just approved the artwork for the cover label of our next #BigRedBook - our 250th, and our first ever publication for the county of #Westmorland.
ALT Crop from the front cover of a book. The book is red with an off white label. On the label, in black, is a shield with three lions and the following text: The Victoria History of the Counties of England A History of the County of Westmorland Volume I

Just discovered this wonderful podcast series about 100 Black Women Who Have Made A Mark. It seeks to redress the erasure of Black women from portraiture in the UK and is led by Pawlet Brookes of Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage.
