If you’re a baseball person running tournaments and scheduling 3 games in one day for high school kids, do better.
I’m not calling out a specific tournament—you know who you are.
It’s one of the dumbest things in amateur baseball. Absolutely Absurd!

Never understood H.S. coaches who ignore freshman or JV programs.
That’s the future of your varsity team.
Then they complain about no depth, culture, or players ready for varsity.
If you only coach varsity, you’re not building a program—you’re just coaching a team.

Idc about him getting hit, but the way you acted towards the ball boy when he is coming to bring you your shit is ridiculous. Take your shit off, hand it to the kid and take your sliding mitt. Monte is one of the best, if not THE best hitting guys that you can find. Anytime you see a video of him talking hitting. Check it out, you will always pick up something that could help you

Too many young hitters expand with 2 Ks in a defensive mindset in the name of fouling pitches off or creating weak contact. Be offensive.

Many hitters feel athletic dangerous when they move more in their load.
Many hitters feel stiff anxious when they do foot down early.
Go watch them play wiffle ball.
Bet they look athletic. Try to do that in game.
The game is a glorified wiffle ball game anyway.

The beginning of college baseball season is always hilarious because one day you’re fielding ground balls in a parking garage and having live AB’s in a basketball gym because your field is buried in ice and then it just goes okay guys tomorrow we open up with LSU. Go get em.

HS players…. Ready to play in college? Here is D1 program in Charlotte, NC today. 40 degrees and raining. Cold, wet and damp! On top of that, there game field is not done so they are practicing on a softball field. It’s all about toughness and doing whatever it takes! Yea, they have an indoor facility, which they were already in earlier in the morning @Queens_Baseball @Coach_JHendrick
