The rest of God is not the ceasing of Labor. It is the birth place of Faith
It is incredibly significant for a God who knows every interaction of the future to set the world into motion in 6 days and then REST on the seventh. He rested with the knowledge of all that would take place. That is the rest I/we are invited into. A supremely confident rest
Thoughts on favor: Someone highly favored choosing a lower seat, doesn’t excuse anyone from treating them in light of that seat rather than their true favor. Why John B. said I am unworthy to untie His sandals. He saw heavens favor.

God prefers the wrong idea from the highly favored one, to the right idea of the lesser favored. Would love feedback on this idea/discussion!

God did not only rest on the seventh day from creating all things. He sat down… fully seeing the full story of this earth and every individual on it. He sat down confident in His goodness playing out in the story of every life. So He rested.
Jesse made his choice from his sons as to who would be the next king. His choice didn’t matter. Because God had already made his choice.
Which soil in the parable of the sower and the seed did not receive a seed. The answer= None. God is still planting/speaking words into every living soil on the earth!

Jesus wasn’t looking to grow His movement, He was looking to keep small enough to minister to the hungry and desperate rather then to answer the questions of the elite. The Father helped by giving sermons like “eat my flesh, drink my blood”
