Dismantled the lamp and cleaned out the holes at the top of each line to get them all working again. Replaced the electrical caps as well since they were old and super tiny with exposed bare copper.

ALT I realized the other day just how many of us were still carrying around the old pouches of fallen porters. On a break today, I just sat and stared at mine - or his, really... I was totally spacing out until I heard Sam nearby asking if I was okay. I said I was but Dollman knew better and politely pressed me to open up. We talked for a while and he shared his insights about loss and how people deal with grief. When he and Sam finally set off, I was left with a lot to think about.
