Super proud of the Season 3 Trailer, IMO this is the best work Iโve ever done.
Worked on the Shion gameplay plus a few extras(anima spirit event, train impact, and the ending motorcycle ride shot). Really appreciate the chance to spread my wings on this one

The Odyssey IMAX aspect ratio discussion is tailor made to ragebait me, you canโt just stuff the 1.43 frame down to a regular screen because the entire point is that itโs larger than your field of vision. The intended effect is gone on a screen that isnโt 60 feet tall.
Compromising the experience just because people feel โleft outโ is so stupid. Itโs like being mad some people can still watch films on 35mm because most theaters donโt have film anymore.

Like yeah, the imax 15/70 experience is superior in many ways and it sucks that not everyone has access, but thatโs due to the format and the theater itself, you arenโt replicating it with a shortcut or bandaid fix.
The only way to make it more accessible is building more 15/70 capable screens

The Nolan IMAX discourse is frustrating because itโs always coming from people who donโt have easy access to IMAX (which sucks) and donโt understand how the framing works. Youโre supposed to be swallowed by the image, not see the entire frame at one time like a normal film.
