Hi everyone. Tensions are high with SCREAM 7 releasing this week but I think it’d be great - if you’re able - to donate to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. If you’re boycotting, donate what you would have paid for a ticket. If you’re seeing the movie, match your ticket price

Anyway it’s not 1:1 because of the characters but I’m old enough to remember when Heath Ledger was announced as Nolan’s Joker and it had the same sorta “No, no, NO!!” response as the Stan/Zsasz scoop. Today made me feel young again is what I’m saying.

It’s been fun watching people crash the heck out today over a Batman scoop.

Catching up on HOUSE OF THE DRAGON and I cannot see Jefferson Hall without believing his character is producing a podcast, even if it's a fantasy show set in a vaguely medieval time.

Jeff Sneider is right more than people give him credit for and (unlike some) doesn't guess at "scoops" in the hope he's proven correct later.

Oooooooh I hope Jeff is on the money here. Stan always seemed "fine" for Harvey but not exciting. But Zsasz? That's an odd pick and immediately much more interesting. And Brian Tyree Henry would fucking kill it as Harvey, the man is instantly likable on screen.
Sebastian Stan is rumored to actually be playing Victor Zsasz in ‘THE BATMAN: PART 2’. Brian Tyree Henry is rumored to be playing Harvey Dent. (Source: theinsneider.com/p/batman-pa…)

Got nostalgic and reinstalled Destiny 2. Despite sinking hundreds and hundreds of hours into the game I am always SO. FREAKING. BAD when returning after a break. Embarrassing.

My take on Jeremy Strong is he looks like he's acting really really really hard in everything he does. But I rarely buy his characters as people, just performances.

Anyway I’m sad that Russell T Davies is out at Doctor Who, I’ve enjoyed his tenure (and both tenures) overall, but let us never do the RTD vs Moffat thing again. My main man Steven M has clearly prevailed.

I hope we can all appreciate that Russell T Davies’ Doctor Who tenure ends with Kate Stewart threatening to shoot a man for dumping a plastic bottle at the beach

Sucks but something was clearly up when we were six months out and there was zero visible activity on the Christmas Special. Oh well. Next man or woman up, lots of great writers out there.
BREAKING 🚨 #DoctorWho has been cancelled for now by the BBC, with a decision to put the show out to tender. The announced Christmas special will no longer go ahead. Russell T. Davies has also confirmed his departure from the show. The BBC shared: Doctor Who remains an important part of the BBC and this tender underpins the BBC’s continued commitment to Doctor Who ensuring audiences will enjoy the show for years to come. After careful consideration, the BBC, Russell T Davies and Bad Wolf have collectively decided not to go ahead with the previously announced Doctor Who Christmas episode. This decision was not taken lightly, and we know it will be disappointing for fans, but in order to set the show up for future series, it was decided that rather than bridge the gap with a one off special, we are choosing to push forward to invest in the long-term future of the show which ensures that when the TARDIS lands once more, it does so in all its glory. RTD shared: And so GOODBYE from me to Doctor Who but HELLO to a big new future for the show, as the BBC announces it's putting the show out to tender. As a result, there won't be a Christmas Special - we only cooked that up to guarantee a future when no one knew what would happen, but now we do know, there's no need for it. You'll have to wait a bit longer for new Doctor Who... but you'll be waiting for MORE Doctor Who than a one-off. So it's worth it! For the record: there was no script, I never wrote it, and no actor was ever approached to play the next Doctor. You may disagree; fine, sit in that chair and wait to be proved right. You'll wait a lonnng time. Now I'm as excited as anyone to see what comes next! Will they keep the theme tune? Will they lose the blue box? Will they bring back the Drahvin?! It's all up for grabs, which is so Doctor Who, exciting and unpredictable and new! Here comes the future, vworp vworp.

One of the coolest zones I’ve ever experienced in a game because it’s 100% optional. You get there, and it’s huge, and then it keeps going… and going… and going. The Crater could’ve been a $20 DLC and it would have been a bargain but it’s sitting right there in the main game.

The Crater in God of War Ragnarök is genuinely one of the best optional areas I’ve explored in a game. You go in thinking it’s just another side area, then suddenly it opens up into this massive region full of hidden paths, bosses, dragons, hunts, lore, and actual meaningful exploration. What makes it even better is how much it rewards you for being curious. Every corner feels like it has something waiting, a fight, a secret, a new route, or some piece of Vanaheim’s history. And exploring it with Freya makes it even cooler, because you get extra backstory and context about her past, her connection to Vanaheim, and how much this realm actually means to her. It felt like a whole expansion hidden inside the main game, one of Ragnarök’s best areas easily !!

Xbox giving up on multiplatform sucks for gamers hoping to play everything on PlayStation, but I can’t blame them for it. Xbox needs an identity again and you do that by making people excited to buy your console to play your games.
Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution are not timed exclusives, won't come to PS5 says Xbox: "Games already announced for multiplatform releases will stick to that plan – we're committed to investing in and growing XBOX both on console and beyond" ➡️ news.xbox.com/en-us/2026/06/… #Xbox #XboxShowcase #GearsofWar

I really wanted Halo on Switch 2, though. Oh well. Clearly I am the victim in all of this.

I've heard this is gorier than EVIL DEAD RISE 😲
The first clip from ‘EVIL DEAD BURN’ has arrived. And if director Sébastien Vaniček gets his way, this movie is going to hurt. Watch the clip: [dreadcentral.com/news/575934…]

Chad Gable receiving a loud, genuine pop and maybe - maybe! - getting a major push makes me so happy. Guy is wickedly talented, he deserves to be at the top of the card.

I take issue with this because the actual motivation in 7 (spoiler?) - entitled fans pissed off Sid wasn’t in 6 - is pretty wonderful. I just wish the scenes around it were as fun as, say, Jill going bonkers in 4.
Why was the ghostface motivation in Scary Movie 6 a million times better than the motivation in Scream 7?😭
