Day 2️⃣7️⃣: Beaune to Bourbon Lancy. Today we started by climbing through the Bourgogne vineyard as the sun was coming up. It was a steady climb for over 10km but the setting and surroundings were some of the best. The first part of the 140km journey was tough as it was constant climbing along the canals and the humidity was high. The second half of the trip was flat so we made up on time. We are in the final stages as tomorrow we will hopefully push on past Nevers and onto the final leg towards St Brevin and the Atlantic Ocean. ➡️ If you wish to donate, you can do here: bit.ly/3MZxhdA

Well, for them to be experiencing a witch hunt they’d have to be women trying to challenge the patriarchy or living outside the norm. So on many counts I’d say, no. No it’s not a witch hunt.

Day 1️⃣1️⃣: This was our first rest day after completing more than over 1,000km. It was a strange start after spending the past 10 days in a constant routine of cycle, eat, sleep, repeat! 🤣 We were still up early and twiddling our thumbs waiting for breakfast which didn’t start until 8am (usually we are on our way and completed a good few kms by then). We took the opportunity to service our bikes, take a walk into the city of Belgrade (it has a great vibe and history) and chill a little.
