Solar panels torched at Pattani power plant project Suspected insurgents set fire to stored solar panels at a solar power plant construction site in Pattani early Sunday, causing property damage but no casualties. The attack occurred at about 3.50am at the project site in Yaring district. The assailants reportedly entered through the rear of the site and set fire to a storage area containing solar panels owned by Gunkul Solar Power Generation. Security forces secured the area and are investigating the incident.
