A brilliant product that supports families & friends impacted by dementia. The game is amazing, and the catchphrase says is all: play without rules. Such a cool concept. 20% of tee shirts sales go directly to a peer mentoring program for dementia caregivers.
Allegra Miller was the primary caregiver for her husband (father of co-owner Emily!), who lived with PD and Lewy body dementia. She co-created a peer mentoring program for dementia caregivers & we are donating 20% of tee sales. Go to hodeeay.com/ to get yours today!
When I’m not doing educator stuff, here’s what I’m up to! It’s a game without rules for people living with dementia and those who love and care for them. So excited to be on All Things Considered!
Anyone familiar with the book “Play: How it Shapes the Brain, Opens the Imagination, and Invigorates the Soul” by Stuart Brown? Would love thoughts and opinions! Thanks.
Very proud of this. Please share if you know anyone living with dementia or caring for someone with dementia. Thank you for supporting our little dream!
In case it helps, 'new article about not counting homework in academic content grades just released today from the Washington Post: washingtonpost.com/education…

October is Lewy Body Dementia Awareness month. My father (& our family) lived w/ LBD. We worked hard to find & create moments of joy. One success: He loved classic cars, so we built models together. Some ended up w/missing pieces, but we didn't care! @LBDAssoc#playwithoutrules
We started a tiny business: a photo card game w/o rules for people living w/ dementia, Alzheimer's or other cognitive impairments. We'd love your support & retweets to get the word out there to people who might benefit! # hodeeay.com/#dementia#alzheimers#caregiving
