Il y a 20 ans, en repensant à ce jour, je ressens encore toute l’émotion de cette finale du 10 juin 2006. L’ambiance à Paris était électrique et je peux encore entendre les chants des supporters biarrots résonner dans le stade.

Ramener ce 5ᵉ Bouclier de Brennus au Pays basque fut la récompense de tout le travail accompli, des sacrifices consentis, des plaquages, des efforts partagés et de la fraternité qui nous unissait. Un souvenir qui, aujourd’hui encore, me donne le sourire.
