4th November 1985 I joined Sussex Police as a Special Constable being sworn in at the local Magistrate Court. 39 years on, I am still going strong, still enjoy going out on duty, still passionate about Policing and helping the Public.

37 years ago today I was sworn in as Special Constable for Sussex Police. I have enjoyed every second of being a part of Sussex Police's family. There have been hard times, good times and scary ones.
Today at 10.30am in 1985 I stood in front of a Magistrate to be sworn in as a Special Constable for Sussex Police, 36 years on I still wear the uniform with pride #SussexPolice#Special
