The South Carolina Republican Party is partnering with Gray Media to host the #SC01 Republican Runoff Debate on June 17 at 7:00 PM. Voters across the First Congressional District will hear directly from the Republican candidates as they compete to earn the party’s nomination. "We’re very disappointed with the South Carolina Senate’s failure to act on President Trump’s call for redistricting. It’s an incredible missed opportunity. Now we have to focus on what’s ahead of us: winning the next election to protect our majority and keep President Trump’s agenda moving forward."

We are saddened to share the news that former South Carolina Republican Party State Chairman Greg Shorey, Jr passed away earlier this week.  He served as State Chairman from 1958-1961.   He worked hard to help build the modern Republican Party here in South Carolina and made a tremendous impact on our state for doing so.  He was a diligent proponent of our Party, our Platform, and continued to support the State Party’s efforts up until his passing.   We extend our thoughts, prayers and condolences to his family.
