Now we're seeing declining test scores, rising distractions, and growing concerns about student well-being. More tech does not equal more learning. It's time to rethink our approach and put students first.

In Philadelphia, Benjamin Franklin founded the Library Company because he believed a free country required citizens who could think, reason and govern themselves. A century and a half later, Andrew Carnegie (and later his foundation) funded 1,681 libraries across the country, this time as free spaces built on the condition that towns would maintain them. zurl.co/iKwp2
