Update on Echo Pro 📡
I have live transcription of listening sessions working with very little latency & great accuracy, plus audio recording & playback with transcription of the recording as well. Think of it like closed captioning for the radio spectrum
You can easily speed up or slow down recordings, & share them using the usual iOS share options
The foundation is there to apply translations of all of the above & that’s what I’m working on now. Echo Pro is on the way!

Accessibility & VoiceOver
• SDR Interface Context: The live radio player now identifies itself to VoiceOver, providing better orientation for blind and low-vision users.
• Global Database Fix: Restored access to the "Favorite" button within station search results for VoiceOver users.
• Onboarding Announcements: Swiping through the setup guide now clearly announces page numbers (e.g., "Page 2 of 5").
• Scanner Audio Cues: The automatic scanner now gives a three-second warning before advancing, so you're never surprised by a station change.
• Map & Sheet Navigation: Improved VoiceOver focus handling for map server details and connection error screens.
• Semantic Grouping: Cleaned up labels on the Acknowledgements screen, Filter chips, and Retry buttons to remove "image noise" and provide clear descriptions.
• Platform Announcements: The new macOS compatibility banner features automatic VoiceOver announcements and semantic grouping, ensuring the platform-specific guidance is immediately clear to blind and low-vision users.

I am aware of an issue with Echo fetching KiwiSDR servers for the Global map/database of servers. I will be sending the v1.1.1 update to Apple early in hopes of getting this hot fix out as soon as possible. This is due to KiwiSDR creator having to shut down direct access to the online server list to mitigate excessive traffic and server load caused by an unrelated OSINT project.
