Regarding recent press coverage

spoke to a family friend today and the topic of memecoins came up (naturally) they mentioned "oh yeah i remember trump did one of those, but when i tried to find it on robinhood it wasn't there so i just forgot about it, how did that go?" i think the trenches have a very warped view of the memecoin space and how big it actually was when i talk to the average trencher, they genuinely think the whole world was trading memecoins back in 2024 when in reality there was less than a few hundred thousand users trading concurrently at PEAK market which is insanely low when you really put that into perspective the true reality is that the average person has either never hear of memecoins or they have but never participated in the market there's a reason that no memecoin "bullrun" has ever held a candle to the level of mayhem that amc/gme had despite robinhood being a kyc platform that was primarily dominated by americans only (a minority percentage of the global population) and that's because of infrastructure something like amc/gme was primed to takeoff because the infrastructure supported it everyone who bought amc/gme already had a phone and likely already had robinhood downloaded and on the same app that they were putting money into their 401k they were able to buy meme stocks like gamestop now i want you to imagine what a memecoin bull market would like with actual proper infrastructure in place: 50 million plus people around the world who already have the right apps downloaded and the basic understanding of what a memecoin is so that in the event of a 2024 level volume catalyst, tens of millions of people can participate concurrently rather than a few hundred thousand the world is not prepared for what a TRUE memecoin bullmarket would look like
