The Mashonaland West GMW celebrations ended on a high note at Nyamhunga 1 Government Primary School in Kariba, where 18 schools gathered to learn about the financial sector.

Mashonaland West GMW celebrations rolled into Hurungwe District at Magunje Government High School, with Charles Clack High School students joining in.

8 schools gathered at Kawondera Primary School in Murombedzi yesterday. 3 provinces, Harare, Manicaland and Mashonaland West have been covered so far. The curtain comes down next week with schools outreach in Mashonaland East.

122 students from various schools gathered at Pfupajena High School in Chegutu to learn about saving, investing, insurance and pensions. They also walked away with knowledge about Data Protection and the Dos and Donts of social media. #GMW2026 #smartmoneytalks

As the curtain comes down on Manicaland GMW celebrations, financial sector regulators visited Nyamhuka Primary School in Nyanga, where several schools gathered to learn about the various roles, products and services within the financial sector.

The financial literacy journey continues with financial regulators in Mutasa district at Gatsi Primary School where 6 other primary and high schools were in attendance. There is no age limit to financial literacy.
