When making lunches and it looks bland or boring think about how some children need the routine of knowing, and that eating something is better than nothing. #lunchbox#schoollunch#ParentingTips#send
Students investigated the physics of rides in Science earlier this week, building a rollercoaster track for marbles using card and tape. They looked at how much the marble's potential energy at the start of the track is converted to kinetic energy at various points of the track.
As part of our focus on local history the students built their own spitfires and decorated them with their own unique artistic flair. We now have a squadron of spitfires flying proudly in the building. #spitfire#localhistory#stoke#reginaldmitchell
As part of #STEM activities last week students used problem solving to look at how the foundation, frame and joints of a structure must be able to withstand enormous tension and compression forces from the weight of its own materials, the load of people and equipment it holds.
The students were fantastic and were respectful about the different cultures and religions. The staff enjoyed getting dressed up and looked amazing! To top the day off, we ordered curry for lunch. The day showed how important it is to embrace #culture and #diversity. (2 of 2)
Friday was a celebration of South Asian culture. We explored the differences between the four major religions in the region. Learned why cricket is such a popular sport in the area. Students also got to create their own henna designs, and dress up in traditional outfits! (1 of 2)
