1/ Today, SFDA @BrookeJenkinsSF announced that Kejwine Kevin Patts was charged w/ in connection to crashing into a building & 2 parklets in the Castro.

2/ Mr. Patts was arraigned on 6/11/26, & pleaded not guilty to all charges & denied the allegations. Mr. Patts is charged w/ 3 counts of hit & run driving & 1 count of reckless driving.

3/ Mr. Patts was released on his own recognizance by the court & ordered not to drive between the hours of 10 p.m., & 6 a.m., & to enroll in, attend & successfully complete a driver’s safety course. Although charges have been filed, this remains an active investigation.

2/ Ms. Kaufmyn was convicted of interfering w/ a business, trespassing w/ intent to interfere w/ a business, unlawful assembly & refusal to disburse at a riot. She is currently out of custody. Sentencing is scheduled for 6/22/26.

2/ Mr. Eryilmaz was convicted of rape of an unconscious person, & assault with intent to commit rape. He is currently in custody pending sentencing. Sentencing is scheduled for 6/18/26.

2/ Mr. Reed is charged with 2 counts of attempted murder, 2 counts of assault w/ a semi-automatic firearm on a peace officer, 2 counts of shooting from a motor vehicle multiple felonies.

3/ Mr. Reed is scheduled to be arraigned on 6/3/26 at the Hall of Justice. Our office will move to have Mr. Reed held in custody pending trial without bail due to the public safety risk he poses. Although charges have been filed, this remains an active investigation.
