Lawrence Ave sill be closed for the next few hours.

Last week our Technical Rescue Team members on shift were deployed to the Sangamon River bank for a report of a female with a broken leg. The crews rescued the patient and she was transported to the hospital. Today, she sent food to different stations throughout Springfield.

On 5/28/77 a fire at the Beverly Hills Supper Club in Southgate, KY killed 165 making it the 3rd deadliest nightclub fire in U.S. history. Overcrowding, faulty wiring, inadequate fire exits, and extreme code violations all led to the tragedy. #FireHistory #NeverForget
