We were delighted to welcome local primary schools over the past two days for an intergenerational workshop exploring Seamus Heaney’s 'Digging'.
Students explored the exhibition, took part in creative activities and joined a poetry workshop with their families and teachers.

It was a pleasure to share the story of our Nobel Prize-winning poet and the place that inspired much of his work!

The students enjoyed taking part in creative activities and exploring our award-winning exhibition celebrating the life and work of Seamus Heaney.

Our Education Officer and Creative Learning Officer had a wonderful time hosting a workshop at the Ballyscullion Park Book Festival last Sunday!
Children explored Seamus Heaney’s poem ‘Churning Day’, took part in craft activities and even had the chance to make their own butter.
