Congratulations to our L6 Mandarin students for achieving a remarkable Distinction (100%) on their ISEB LEVEL 1 Mandarin Assessment. To celebrate this fantastic result, we had a tea ceremony and explored Chinese tea culture.
On 15th June, Year 8 Mandarin class participated in a Mandarin trip to the British Museum to learn about Chinese history. Students also enjoyed a Chinese characters quiz and Chinese bubble tea in Chinatown.

On May 4th, students took part in the Chinese Experience Club and learned how to make a Chinese knot which is called the 平结(píng jié). The knot is considered one of the fundamental knots in Chinese knotting and can be used to create a variety of accessories.@SHSKLower
Jasmine Flower is a popular Chinese folk song from the Jiangnan region. The song dates back to the 18th century in China. Year 6 students in Mandarin had the opportunity to sing the song and to learn a traditional Chinese Fan Dance.
