Earlier this week, Year 10 spent the day taking part in School of Comedy - comedians flexed their creativity coming up with ideas, workshopping material and drafting scripts, all of which were performed in our Science Atrium later in the afternoon #SHSKActivitiesWeek

This metaphor is longer than I usually favor, but it captures an important dynamic between parents and their teens. Our teenagers don't become a little bit more independent each day. Instead, they move back and forth - clinging to us and then pushing away like swimmers in a pool.
