Thank you all for coming down to our open day today and making it such a special day. A fantastic day was had by all. It was amazing to see so many happy faces enjoying the activities. We also managed to raise some much needed funds for @firefighters999. Thank you.

This bank holiday weekend, Merlot, a deaf & blind 17yo Papillon got into a bit of a tight squeeze. He had managed to get himself stuck between 2 houses in Warrington. Luckily we where able to rescue him using a reach pole and reunited him with his grateful owners.

Today crews spent the day helping out @runcornfs With a large fire on Percival Road in Runcorn. They established a fire break then helped supply water to the new HRET from @maccfire to attack the fire from above.

Early hours of this morning whilst on standby at Wilmslow. We attended a Make Pumps 8 incident in Stockport to support @manchesterfire Crews. Great teamwork prevented the spread of a well developed fire on the 4th floor of an abandoned building.

This evening we attended a fire caused by a log burner in Stockton Heath. Upon arrival crews discovered a property full of smoke. This was caused by wooden logs being placed too close to the lit log burner causing them to ignite and give of smoke. orlo.uk/bjWQ6
