I know it’s only week 1 and there is a lot of football to be played and all of that stuff. But… Feed me Heritage Hills at Reitz in The Bowl for a 4A Sectional Title. THAT would be electric 🔥

See a lot of people picking Jasper over Memorial and North over Castle. What makes you all think that could happen? Both Jasper and North will be rolling out new offenses for the first time against good defenses. Doesn’t seem to favor them.

For what it’s worth, I think North over Castle is more likely. That game always seems to be a coin flip. I just think Memorial has a great DC and they’ll be well prepared to stop an inexperienced spread attack.

Scrimmages tonight! Cue the yearly overreactions because team A dominated team B and scored almost every time, even though some of it was starters on reserves. Just no. They’re scrimmages. Most coaches don’t gameplan for it or use their best players that much. Just stay healthy!

SIAC🏈 Coaches Power Rankings 9. Stephan Mullen - Pros: laid back dude, cares about his players, is willing to take beatings but stay persistent, fun offense. Cons: maybe too laid back, struggles to get good line play, doesn’t adjust well in-game, has lost a lot of games.

SIAC🏈 Coaches Power Rankings 10. Zac Nero - Pros: good at motivating, confident in what he does, passionate. Cons: very unproven, unsure if he knows much outside of line play, huge school with a bunch of athletes but they underachieve often and that may not change, we’ll see.
