Sex ed should grow up with us 🪴 Abstinence-only is stuck in the past. Not much has changed in decades🕸️, abstinence-only is still built on fear and shame, purity and impurity, because that's all it knows.

We talk about "risk" in binaries. A condom can break, birth control can fail, anyone can be pressured into sex. Despite that, and our enduring lack of sex ed, pregnancy is framed as a consequence of "risky" behavior for women.
