Shamefully, #MApoli pols have AGAIN chosen to ignore evidence, deep need & demand for #OverdosePreventionCenters & made the stigma-based decision to remove OPC from their final SUD bill. We'll continue to demand #YESTOSCS & fight alongside people who use drugs for #SIFMANOW!

When people say they can’t access vital healthcare and harm reduction services because of fear of being punished/arrested for substance use, this is why and it’s unacceptable. Keeping people from accessing things like PrEP, ARVs, sterile works, primary care only perpetuates harm

We're at the MA Joint Committee on MH, SU & Recovery hearing on #overdose prevention centers. 12,794 people in MA died since we partnered w/MA leg members to introduce 1st OPC bill in 2016. There have been 0 deaths at an OPC. #MApoli MUST say #YestoSCS to save lives NOW!
