🎨👏 Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Crime Stoppers Poster Contest, sponsored by the Office of the State Attorney, 7th Judicial Circuit, in partnership with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office and the St. Johns County School District! This year's theme, "See It, Say It, Stop It!", challenged students to create original artwork promoting shared responsibility for school safety. 🏆 1st Place Elementary School Winner: Gabby Gervais, Palm Valley Academy 🏆 1st Place Middle School Winner: Lily Burch, R.J. SJCSD Summer Hours 🏖️ St. Johns County School District schools and district offices will be open to the public Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. All locations will be closed on Fridays through July 31. Normal operating hours resume on Monday, August 3. This summer schedule helps support the district's energy cost-saving efforts.☀️

🌎🎉 Congratulations to the Odyssey of the Mind Team at Pine Island Academy! The PIA team earned an impressive 7th-place finish in the Off the Rails Division II category at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals held this past weekend at Iowa State University. Competing against 53 teams from around the globe, these students showcased outstanding creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills on the world stage. This extraordinary accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students and their coach, Shanon Cally. Founded in 1978 by Dr. C. Samuel Micklus, Odyssey of the Mind encourages students to think Beyond the Box™* by combining knowledge, imagination, and innovation to solve complex challenges in creative ways. Sites are available at places like schools, libraries, parks, and community centers, making it simple to find a spot that fits into your family’s routine.
