Vigilance and continued action are needed to keep campuses safe and welcoming for Jewish and all students, staff and faculty.

Campus disruptions are escalating as the year ends: encampments at Occidental and Smith, hundreds of vandalism incidents at Swarthmore, student government votes to defund Hillel. Campus leaders must enforce policies and protect Jewish members of campus communities. Read our statement: notoleranceforantisemitism.a…

Student governments at @UWMadison and @ColoradoStateU just passed resolutions calling for divestment from Israel and anyone with ties to it, accusing the Jewish state of "genocide." As my colleague @SJGoodman said, "these measures risk fueling division on campus."   Universities are meant for open dialogue and exchange, not boycotts that shut down engagement and isolate Jewish students. @UWMadison is right to investigate and push back against this. We must hold the line against antisemitism disguised as activism. jns.org/news/u-s-news/uw-mad…

The ADL Online Gaming Leaderboard will serve as a resource for parents wondering whether an online game is safe for their child. As ADL's @danieljkelley said, this is "the most comprehensive evaluation of safety measures in online multiplayer games to date, with a focus on how companies manage antisemitism and extremism." jewishinsider.com/2026/03/an…

“It felt like a reunion in many cases — seeing people you know, learning and growing, and seeing for the first time in a while: hope. Knowing you are not alone in this fight. That is the magic of the experience.” #NeverIsNow

"This was not simply a conference. It was a community coming together — to learn, to grieve, to compare notes, to find allies, and, perhaps most unexpectedly, to feel hope." Read more from @AaronHermansays about what he took away from #NeverIsNow 2026: blogs.timesofisrael.com/neve…

What a sad but beautiful moment at #NeverIsNow yesterday. May their memories be a blessing and may we be inspired to action.

From Mississippi to Boulder, Michigan, the UK and Australia, communities impacted by antisemitic violence are not alone. Today at #NeverIsNow, we honored those we’ve lost and recognized the resilience of these communities. Thank you, Zach Shemper (Beth Israel Congregation, MS), Susan Rona (@ADLMtnStates), Elyssa Schmier (@ADLMichigan) @PhilR_R (@BoardofDeputies) and Daniel Aghion (@ECAJewry), for standing united against hate and reminding us what’s at stake: not policies or statistics, but people’s lives.

Two days after the horrific shooting at Tree of Life, I was with leaders of Black and Latino churches in Pittsburgh. The clergy gathered around the Jews and offered a blessing. It was the first moment I could breathe. None of us is safe unless we all are.

Thank you to our partners at @LULAC for standing in solidarity with Temple Israel and the Jewish community. The fight against antisemitism is inseparable from the fight against all forms of hate. Together, we send a clear message — hate has no place in our houses of worship. lulac.org/news/pr/LULAC_Issu…

We should all be safe wherever we pray, learn and come together in community. Our kids have never been to a Jewish school, camp or event without passing by guards and gates. This is what passes for normal but it shouldn’t have to be.
Mar 13
As @jgreenblattadl said on @Morning_Joe, nearly “every synagogue in America, every Jewish day school, every Jewish summer camp has a security director.” No parent should have to worry about whether their preschooler is safe in class. No rabbi should wonder if their synagogue is next. No community should have to live in fear. Yet here we are.

Countering antisemitism on campus requires ongoing work and sustained vigilance.
Mar 10
48% of non-Jewish students witnessed or experienced antisemitism on campus in the past year. That's a sobering reality. While ADL's 2026 Campus Report Card shows schools are finally enforcing policies, and grades of the schools we assessed are rising, the levels of antisemitism on campuses remain alarming. We've made progress, but we can't stop now. Read more from @jns_org: jns.org/nearly-half-of-non-j…

Progress is being made but vigilance is necessary! Keeping campuses safe and welcoming is a matter of will.
Mar 10
The 2026 ADL Campus Report Card shows progress is possible: of the 135 schools we assessed last year, 47% of them went up either one or two letter grades this year. Of the 150 total schools assessed in this year's Report Card, the percentage of schools earning A/B grades jumped from 23.5% to 58% in 2 years. But with our new campus climate survey showing 48% of non-Jewish students are witnessing or experiencing anti-Jewish bias, we can't stop now. Read more: adl.org/resources/press-rele…
